Data processing information

When your organization uses AlphaSynth Mail to process personal data about your contacts or users, AlphaSynth Mail typically acts as a processor on your instructions. You remain responsible for lawfulness of processing and for your relationship with data subjects. This page summarizes standard commitments; a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) may apply under your contract.

1. Subject matter and duration

Processing is performed to provide the Service for the term of your subscription or agreement, plus any period needed to wind down, comply with law, or resolve disputes.

2. Nature and purpose

Hosting customer-provided contact and campaign data, generating and sending email, storing engagement events you configure, authentication, security logging, support, and billing-related identifiers.

3. Categories of data subjects and data

Data subjects may include your subscribers, customers, or employees depending on your use case. Categories may include contact details, professional information, technical identifiers, and message content you upload.

4. Obligations of the processor

We process personal data only on documented instructions from you (including these Terms and in-product settings), ensure confidentiality of processing, implement appropriate security measures, assist you with data subject requests where reasonable, delete or return data at end of service as agreed, and make available information needed to demonstrate compliance.

5. Subprocessors

We use vetted subprocessors (for example cloud hosting, authentication, email delivery, payments, and monitoring). We will provide notice of changes to subprocessors as required by your agreement or applicable law.

6. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred across borders, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) as required by applicable law.

7. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. Further detail may be provided under NDA where appropriate.

8. Audits

Upon reasonable request and subject to confidentiality, we support customer audits and questionnaires related to the Service, as set out in your agreement.
